There's good news for chicken lovers in Lahore! The price of chicken has fallen by Rs39 per kilogram in the retail market, bringing the new rate down to Rs416/kg. This is a welcome change after weeks of high prices.

Poultry dealers attribute the drop to low demand for chicken. They even predict that prices may fall further in the coming days.

Just a few weeks ago, chicken prices were as high as Rs455/kg, and some reports say prices had risen by Rs200 over the past month. This caused concern for consumers, especially ahead of Eid ul Azha.
