After three days, he said that the appropriate authorities should destroy any encroachments, and he added that the most senior officer in the building in question would bear the expense of that operation.

Attorney Umar Lakhani for the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation promised the court that all encroachments on the pavements beside the 106 routes that fall under the organization's purview will be removed.

And with that, the matter was postponed till tomorrow.
